Our newborn has a hemangioma on the top of her head. An ultrasound was done at a different facility, that went well. First thing nurse practitioner of Dr. Grossman talked about was surgical options, and we explained the ultrasound indicated that wasn't necessary (they hadn't looked at the ultrasound), we were interested in monitoring. Dr. Grossman then came in and was upset that we had come to her practice, "we don't do pediatric dermatology." Very rude, unprofessional, waste of time, a joke.
Dr. Grossman had been in the industry sector for a very long time before returning to part-time private practice. She has a very distant bedside manner and a bit arrogant. But the worst part of all, I had a cancer on my face and she missed it altogether. I found it, she said it was nothing, I went to someone else for a second opinion and it was cancer. Not a good thing.
I agree with all the comments about her rudeness, impatience, and overall inability to clearly explain things. She's horrible, snotty, and extremely cold.
I was a little worried when I saw the 1 star reviews but I met her today and thought she was wonderful! She did a biopsy and "froze" a pre-cancerous area. Did not condemn me for being a sun lover, but provided education and suggested an "umbrella". Also recommended a OTC Cream instead of a very expensive brand I was using. Would highly recommend her. Thank you
I have seen Dr. Grossman for a growth under my eye and she has been amazing at attending to this. I had gone to a PA at the same location and did not have a good experience. Dr. Grossman was aggressive with the removal and had very good bedside manner. Not sure what the others experienced that was negative, but I personally did not have a negative experience. I have gone for skin checks and she is very thorough.
I would NOT recommend Dr. Grossman, she is extremely rude and just wants to get you out the door. She laughs when you say you have questions and rushes through the appt. Save $ and go see someone else.
Went for my annual physical. I was seen at 1:01 pm and was back in my car at 1:15 pm. She did not check my scalp, behind my ears or between my toes. In fact, it seemed like she couldn't wait to get out of the room. I asked about some cysts and scars and she was very dismissive of them. She hardly looked at my body. I don't see how she could have taken an oath of do no harm. I am going to see another dermatologist anywhere but at this practice.
Went for my annual screening for cancerous spots. She was dismissive of my questions about a clearing fungal infection I had, snapping at me. Extremely condescending. I could overlook this if I thought she was top-notch. She missed a very visible precancerous spot another dermatologist found right on my cheek the following week. I think she wants to sell cosmetic procedures. Never, ever again. At 58, homie don't play that anymore.
