Dr Rachel Derr is a very good doctor. The communications with her office has improved a lot because of newly hired staff. She has a very good PA now which aids her in getting to her patients in an efficient manner. Previously I had difficulty getting refills and prescriptions, but the new nurse straightened out the pharmacy problem on my record when I visited this week. Dr Rachel Derr is good. The communications with office staff is not good. Can’t get thru on apptmt line frequently. Have had difficulty getting refills and prescriptions. Twice in past few months have left message for medical assistant and did not receive call back at all. I’m hoping the office communications improve, because I like Dr Derr.
Dr. Derr is great. She takes the time to explain all relevant findings and treatments, and carefully adjusts your meds to try to avoid unwanted side effects. Waiting room times are minimal. The only negative is the parking deck (which has nothing to do with the doctor, but you still have to use it). The flat fee is a pricey $5 and there is usually a bottleneck to exit.
Dr. Derr takes the time to answer your questions and explains things so you can understand them especially about diabetes
Had the same problem as the other reviewer. Sent all records as requested, followed up with a call, explained the situation ( emergent ), nobody called back. I called 3 more times and nothing. I wish I had sent my paperwork into somebody else because we would’ve had an appointment by now. Starting from scratch.
