Rachel provided hair and makeup services for my dear friend Lisa's wedding on September 13 for our bride and her team. Rachel arrived on time and was great to work with. It was a fun experience. She understood what we valued and provided each of us with a look that felt natural and beautiful. Rachel is a true professional and delightful to work with. Rachel is so lovely and is a true professional. She did an absolutely amazing job with my wedding makeup and hair and I have never felt so pretty. She made me feel very heard in what I said I wanted, and the finished look was beyond amazing. She also did an amazing job on my mom's hair and makeup. My mom is almost 70 and does not wear very much makeup generally, so she was feeling nervous about the service. Rachel was rude to the bridesmaids as we were getting ready for my sister’s wedding. Her hair did not hold and we had to re curl it. In the future when being hired for a special event, try not to talk about yourself so much and focus on the bride’s wishes. My sister ended up paying way too much to be isolated on her wedding day.
I hired Rachel to do my wedding day makeup and hair and groom styling services. Overall, I was disappointed with the entire experience and would not recommend her for weddings. Our initial consultation had a good vibe, and I was happy to find a local artist. That faded as we proceeded through two previews and our day of event.
