Do not go here. Dr. Shu is insensitive, demeaning and punitive. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly interrupted me, imposed her own opinions as fact, and disregarded the concerns I came in to address. In the end, her gross accusations were proven wrong, and I didn't get help with what I came in for. My wife's experience with Dr. Shu -- which I witnessed directly -- was consistent with the doctor's many other dreadful, negative reviews (more on Yelp than on Google). "Poor bedside manner" is a stark understatement. As another reviewer wrote, she glaslights and blames you for your health problem. She was not just curt or unwarm -- she was angry, abrasive, and just seemed strangely out of her mind with harshness. Dr. Shu is competant, caring and get things done. That is what I am looking for in a Dr. She was pleasant and very kind to my toddler and me, I felt very confortable with her. I have a few health challenges and she adressed them all. She was honest and had good manners. She made a few jokes and show interest in my personnal life. I read negative reviews about her and I honestly had a great experience, I dont understand what is all the fuss about. I honestly recommend her
Okay now I’ll speak! To know her is to love her! For almost 3 decades I’ve had the pleasure of being Dr. Rachel Shu’s patient. She’s extremely knowledgeable of her work, top in her field!! Yes, she’s sometimes abrasive, due to her zero tolerance for ignorance and her professional interest of her patients wellbeing. Note: not all results are favorable but she DID give 100% care and concern! I hope every female needing an OB/GYN finds the one best suited for their needs.
This is a truly horrible human being. I really don't say that lightly. I can't imagine having to have this person as my doctor for an entire pregnancy. One of the meanest, uncaring people I've ever had the misfortune of speaking with.
