Dr. Epstein seems so nice and trustworthy. She said I needed cataract surgery. When the appointment person called, she told me there would be fees not covered by insurance. This totaled between 8-10 K! SO I contacted another ophthalmologist and went for an appointment. I DID NOT NEED CATARACT SURGERY! Also, when I brought the chart notes to the new doctor from Dr. Epstein, she said Dr. Epstein was also going to do a cornea replacement. WHAT? There is nothing wrong with my cornea! Do not trust her. Rachel Epstein, MD, VERY RUDE! This trash of a MD has no manners at all how to speak to patients.! I was so disgusted with her rudeness. Her work ethic VERY POOR! I have no trust in Rachel Epstein, MD, practice.. Stay away from trash at any cost.!!
With the few one star reviews, I was a bit nervous about my appointment, but the whole staff was top notch. They greeted me pleasantly, ran on time, the person administering all my tests was kind and patient and had me giggling. Dr. Epstein is no nonsense, but kind and professional. She looked at the whole picture, followed up with my primary care doc, and gave me all my options. I am very pleased with the care I received and am happy to continue as her patient.
