Neurology is a very difficult specialty to work in, so I'm very impressed with how Dr. Carlin approaches with professional grace and care. She spent a lot of time discussing and clarifying several of my past imaging reports, including pointing out places of concern to let me know what to watch out for if/when things get worse and what the next steps would be.

So far she is way different than the last doctor we were referred to, we haven’t seen her yet but she takes her time to research the referral so she is prepared before seeing the patient. She is my last hope of seeing my happy healthy life of the party optimistic husband that I lost after he suffered hundreds of TIA’s and a stroke. They always want to look at just mental health and not associate it to the stroke and the fact that something made him lose 80 pounds without trying in less than a year. First visit and I found Dr. Carlin to be pleasant, professional and thorough in her examination making recommendations related to a treatment plan I could understand and agree to.
