This office staff was very unwelcoming and cold. The medical assistant I have to give her 10/10 she was the only pleasant attitude during my first time visit. Dr. Uzoma Ewelu didn’t connect as a friendly provider to me personally. The mask during the visit was off putting and just felt cold and distant. While she was knowledgeable and answered my questions, I felt rushed and unimportant during my first visit here. My Pcp highly recommended & referred to me here. I had to wait to organize an apt as I was away. The last couple of days they've been contacting me. Calling back I have been hung up on twice. And Received a message stating that am out of network & I have to pay $285 plus possibly more.. They stated they accept my insurance however out of network but they could not give me why. I have been in the medical field all off for four decades. As a new patient possibly one of the worst clinics to arrange an apt & dealt with.
The location was hard to find, but the experience once I arrived was great from beginning to end. Jennifer and her assistant were extremely nice and made me feel comfortable.
No waiting in the lobby. Jennifer and staff were friendly and she explained everything clearly. Parking lot was full, so allow extra time to park.
