Rabia's Restaurant

4.1

About this business

There are so many restaurants in the North End, that choosing a place to dine can be difficult. For Italian seafood, try this small storefront eatery. Inside, you will find soothing, creamy walls and a dining room jammed with tables. For traditional Italian-American entrees, there are plenty of familiar pastas, or you can try the antipasto di mare or a tuna steak. Specials include shrimp, mussels and scallops in sauce or sautéed in oil. For lunch, sandwiches and soups are available. Rabia's serves beer and wine.

Unbelievable – Prompt service, great atmosphere, good wine, excellent food, and tiramisu to die for. My only complaint is that the prices listed on the menu outside were lower than the ones on the menus they gave you once you had been seated...probably just an oversight, but it seemed a little sneaky to me. Dinner well made up for it though.

Rushed at Rabia's – This resturant was very disappointing. The service was rushed(they removed the appetizer plates before we were done!) The food was average and the resturant was way too cramped. On top of all that joy was a overpriced check. There are many north end resturants better than this place.

Rabia' restaurant – I had no idea what to expect from this restaurant since I picked it out from the computer. It was sensational. The food was outstanding and the wait staff exceptional. You could cut my Magharita Vitello with a fork. The olives on the table in a small dish were delicious and not salty. Where did they get them from? This is where I had my birthday dinner... It was an unexpected delight. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The portions are perfect when it comes t – I have had the pleasure of dinning at Rabia's on a number of occasions. One occasion in particular sticks out. I took my future wife to Rabias on our first date about three years ago. We were seated in the quaint window seat. What a romantic setting. I ordered the seafood special, which I highly recomend. It is probably the best dish. Thats if you love seafood, pasta, and an icreadible sauce. My fiance had the stuffed ravioli's which she seemed to greatly enjoy. The service is above ... read more

Best of the North End – We went to this restaurant without knowing anything about it. We have been to many, many places in the North End for dinner and this by far was my favorite. The prices on the specials are a little high, but definately worth it. The waitstaff was extremely efficient and friendly. You sit very closely to your neighbor, but we found everybody extremely friendly, sharing thoughts about what they ordered. It's tiny and can be very warm in there, so it may be a place to avoid on a hot evening.

Just what I was Looking For! – My boyfriend and I went to the North End on a rainy Saturday night, thinking that it would not be crowded. Boy was I wrong. Hanover Street was packed with people and every restaurant had a line out the door. Then we stumbled over to Salem Street where Rabia's is. We quickly jumped on the menu and went inside. It smelled so delicious that we didn't mind waiting 15 minutes for a table. The food and service was excellent. We tried one of the specials for an appetizer that was to die for. We were t... read more

Charming & Romantic – On a special night out, we came across this charming little restaurant. The friendly host seated us promptly and we were immediately greeted by the waiter (whose service was excellent throughout the evening). The food was wonderful and the ambiance was perfect - exactly what we were hoping to find. We lingered over dessert past the closing time, but were never made to feel rushed. We can't recommend this place enough and we plan to go back soon!

Graet Food, and all – My wife and I ate here at a friend's recommendation. It was truly a treat. The food and service was excellent. We called early for a reservation, requesting the little table in the window. I would recommend planning early enough to do this. It adds to the great experience by sitting in the window.
