I now know I don't like Sushi! – I'd never had sushi before and my daughter took me here for my birthday. I really didn't like it. why an earth would anyone want to eat raw fish! UGH! My daugter insisted we try a wide variety of weird and wonderful things from the menu. It wasn't for me but she seemed to have a good time. The restaurant itself seemed nice enough bit I really do not like raw fish.
THEY USE LOW GRADE SUSHI – SAKU BLOCK IS NOT TUNA MY FRIENDS. 2-3 POUNDS IN A BLOCK WITH FOOD COLORING. YOU CAN TELL BECAUSE IT IS PINK. THEY BUY THIS FOR CHEAP AND SELL AS GRADE A SUSHI.....MAKING PROFIT AND SELLING OLD FISH YUCK,
Yummy sushi – Definitely a must for sushi lovers! Exquisite tasty sushi morsels done creatively...prices are very reasonable for this quality of food..highly recommended!
Loved it – very friendly staff and great food.
Nice menu but the delivery leaves a little to be wanted. It is clean staff nice not my favioriate but still good, you can expect a nice dinning expriance.
Avoid this place...Not the same – We have been to RA many times before to catch their happy hour but after this experience we will not go back. Our server was inattentive and lacked common knowledge about the menu. The few questions we asked about the menu were met with a confused look. I ordered a saki sangria which came to the table as a pathetic watered down drink--looked like pink water. Best Japanese food!! – Definitely excellent food, helpful staff, everything is absolutely delicious.
They could step it up a bit – Well, the sushi is OK... Not great. The service really needs some improvement. They need to keep their patio's cleaner. The atmosphere is pretty good. Over all, there are way better sushi places in Scottsdale. Oh yeah, and create a kids menu please. We have two little ones and they love hip places too.
Everything contains MSG!!! – This place is happening in Baltimore City, but what most people don't realize is that everything, and I mean everything, contains MSG. So if you want to wake up with a bad headache, or worse a migraine, you will like eating here. MSG is toxic to the brain and over the past 30 years is slowly but surely being eliminated by food companies. But RA Sushi continues to use it.
