Great spot for sushi in the heart of midtown! The sushi is always fresh and I love the atmosphere here: Very modern and upbeat. The outdoor seating is primo for people watching, and I love that there's an indoor-outdoor bar you can sit at. The menu changes seasonally, but some of my favorite staple items are the garlic edamame and the Viva Las Vegas roll. Ra Sushi is a go-to place for happy hour. This is the only time I ever really go. The prices are great ranging between $3-$10 and there's a wide variety of items on the menu. Parking is easy and they validate for up to 2 hours. Some of my dish recommendations are the garlic edamame, shrimp tempura roll and the viva las vegas rolls.
Go to place for good sushi and great happy hour specials ( both food and drinks) I went on Sunday and Mo the bartender was awesome! My chicken yakatori and apple sake were just what the doctor ordered.
Go to Sushi spot in Atlanta. My go to dishes are the Shrimp Tempura Roll and the "RA"shrimp. If you're a big sushi eater check this place out as the food, vibes and service are excellent.
Great place for the best sushi in the city. I absolutely love the Shrimp Tempura Roll and the "RA"ckin Shrimp (my two faves). Every time I frequent either for Happy Hour during the week or a night out on the weekend I'm never disappointed with the food nor the service.
Great brunch and happy hour specials!! I haven't been to a sushi place before here in Atlanta. I got a pineapple chicken bowl with a ginger mimosa which was great. Next time I will have to try a sushi roll.
I have such a hard time with Ra - the food is SO, so good, but the service is always so, so bad. I eat here quite frequently and love all the sushi as well as the bento boxes and the garlic edamame (a MUST). The service, however, is always slow and unapologetic, even when they mess up your orders (which happens a lot). Unfortunate that they can't get it together or I'd be a much more regular customer.
Gotta go between 3-7pm on happy hour – This new fresh sushi restaurant has all the makers of a winner, the management staff had the innovative idea of offering 1/2 price sushi between 3-7pm witch draws in a lot of people into the restaurant. the restaurant is new so this happy hour promo must just to get a client baseline going. The sushi is fresh and delicious must try the Viva las Vegas roll and NY Rolls they are finger licking good!! check this place out guys you will not be disappointed.
Not bad – For being as atmosphere driven, the sushi itself isn't so bad. We like to stick with the basic rolls and authentic rolls, we don't normally fall for the designer rolls. We decided to try the lobster mango one though and we wouldn't go back to that one. If you're not a big fan of sushi then do it b/c it's almost as if you're not eating sushi to begin with. That said, the spicy yellowtail was a delight.
