Dr Russell is one of the best! I have been going to him for years. I alway have a good experience when I go to my yearly check up. I drive over an hour to see him, but it is well worth it!
I waited four months for this man to only do a urine test just to tell me they were garbage and could be false and sent me on my way to schedule a catscan this dr was beyond unprofessional dismissed how I felt came in and first words “how can I help you today” as if I was shppping for a phone and he didn’t have years worth of kidney information from all the hospitals I visited in front of him on his laptop told me that there’s no way someone could live with the pain I described then belittled the pain I described I feel dail... read more
Please stay away from Dr Russell he does not have patient compatient at all 😡 Very Rude ! Rushed to er for kidney stone blockage had stent put in so I could pee than 3 weeks later had lithotripsy and was told everything went well ! One day later called office and in horriable pain and was told that pain was normal and I said no something was wrong and so I went to er and found out by catscan stone was still there and know I have a Uti and bowel blockage from all the pain meds than was scheduled for another procedure 7 days ... read more
It was like talking to an adolescent with a huge attitude. He dismissed my symptoms, criticized my previous care, criticized emergency room procedures. He sent me away without wanting to do anything to confirm a problem or rule one out It was a very bizarre and shocking visit. I have to start over.
I started my visit from the ER and a hospital admit, needing surgery for a kidney stone. I couldn’t get on the schedule for a few days, at no fault of Dr. Russell. I appreciated the fact that he stopped in daily to check on me and give updates knowing he had a very busy schedule. Following surgery and discharge from hospital I had to call the the office and speak to a nurse on a few occasions. She was prompt at calling me back and sensitive to my needs. I left another urologist after 15 years because I had two episodes that were unacceptable. The first I could not urinate and I was told to go to emergency which I did. I received no follow up from his office. The second I had an emergency and needed to be fifteen minutes late. The office response they could not accommodate the request. I was told to cancel and reschedule. The earliest available date was two months later. I left after 15 years.
I have had only POSITIVE interaction with Dr Russell. He has a good sense of humour and is efficient and knowledgeable. I now find myself having another need of a urologist, and was pleased to be referred to Dr Russell, again.

Staff was nice enough. Dr. Raymond Scott Russell was rude. He asked me about my health issue. I started explaining to him my problem & tests I've had done. He rudely bit my head off & told me he didn't care what test/procedures I've had done & he needs to start from the beginning & order the tests to find out the problem. WOW!
