check engine light issues I'm very unhappy with my treatment. This is the second time I've taken my car in to have the check engine light checked out. After paying $75 for them last time to basically tell me my gas cap was loose, I explicitly told them this time to not do anything if it were anything minor like a loose gas cap. I get no phone call until AFTER they've checked out the loose gas cap code and I supposedly owe $75 for service that I never authorized. I will not be going back.
Honest, Timely, Kind These guys are good, honest as the day is long. I've been going to them for years and now schlep from Silver Spring because I trust them so much. The owner is very much a part of the Takoma Park community, too. A real gem.
Honest and Helpful R & S Automotive was just the place for a new resident. Very courteous and took care of my problem - fixed it in a very timely manner and I believe the cost was fair. A few days later he performed a follow-up adjustment to a belt on the spot, no charge. Stopped in another time to have them install a lamp in a headlight - the young man on duty took care of it immediately, no charge and a very polite. I recommend Doley and team very highly.
Good place This is a nice to have your car repaired. This guy is slightly expensive, but does really good work. There is a guy by the name Dolly who works here. This guy is nice. Another guy by the name Andy also is good at fixing cars. Very very nice place especially for engine problems.
