Just moved into the area and I was looking to get my rear differential serviced for my Tahoe. R&M fit me right in and performed the job at a reasonable price, and also pointed out other things that would need service in the future. It's hard to find honest mechanics. I definitely will be back for future repairs and service.
Took care of an emergency breakdown while traveling... ordered parts and got the car back on the road in two days. Al kept up a clear line of communication and was easy to work with. Would gladly make R&M my go-to shop if I lived in the area.
I am writing this to warn every resident in Wilmington: do not trust this shop with your vehicle or your safety. My experience here has been a nightmare of deceptive practices and gross mechanical negligence. The Deception: I paid for a valve cover gasket repair on April 9th. On April 15th, I had to return because the repair failed immediately. The owner Al is great he worked with me on surprise repairs that I wasn't expecting great customer service and good quality work.
The owner is very pleasant with the customers an very nice area let's you know what you need done to your car an see what type of maintenance needs to be done honest with everything an everyone
