I broke down in front of this auto repair shop, It was the alternator, took them over 3 hours just to get it off, then new one was purchased from auto zone for under 175.00, I was charged over 100% mark up. Then it was put back on and I was charged over 500.00 for over 6 hours labor/fabrication of parts to repair, 6 months later it was down again and my regular mechanic found the fabricated part was a bent bolt with some washers and a nut to act as a pulley for the belt tensioner.
