My husband went for an appointment with Dr. Lara. His office staff was completely unprofessional and insisted that his copay was more than what it actually was. We confirmed with our insurance company that our copay was, in fact, the amount we already knew it to be. The office staff was insistent in their ignorance and refused to double check. I am suffering from allergies, and I was diagnosed years ago with allergies to house dust. My eyes are watery and my nose is running or congested, and I also have postnasal dripping. I was seeking help by Dr. Lara. He performed a nasal endoscopy and suggested to peform a scan. The health insurance approved the scan, but my share of the costs, because of my deductible, would have been over $300, which I currently cannot afford. Dr. Lara was working with me to deal with several issues, and he ordered a CT of my neck to look at tonsils and instead of tonsil issues thyroid cancer was found. Because he orders appropiate tests that gives him all the information, my cancer was found early.
Dr Lara and his staff are such a wonderful team, I am always treated very well by the staff, great group of Ladies. And Dr Lara is just wonderful and listens to you. He Is always there when I need to see him and the staff will always work me in.How Lucky I am to Have them all in my corner. Thank You to all of you making me feel better.
Jonathan lara is a DO and not an MD and I do not believe he is board certified in ENT though that is what his office told me. I saw him for ear problem. He did a good job, correctly diagnosing and treating me. I would certainly see him again. I was satisfied with his treatment, manner, behavior and attitude. However, he is part of Carslon ENT, and their office staff is very aggressive in unnecessary treatments. If you do not know what you want and are not firm, they will walk all over you.
