Moved to Waukegan in 1972 & haven't had a bad pizza from Quonset until March 7, 2015. Watered down sauce and less sausage. Then I here the same from several other friends so it doesn't seem to be a one time thing. New owners? Wait staff is not interested in customers, only themselves. Bad pizza and unfriendly staff.
Use to be – At one time it was the best but ovr time it they got arragont and let the quality slip, the sauce got wattery.sausage got to spicy and the pizza suffered terribly ...sorry
BEST PIZZA EVER – Growing up in the 60's in Waukegan you couldn't find a better Pizza. I moved to AZ in 98 and had to have that great taste. I had a friend buy some , ship in dry ice and shipped them off to me.. YUMMMY . Can you open up a store in GLEANDALE AZ ? My mouth is watering now LOL
Excellent Pizza, Excellent Service – I live in Washington now, and i pay 50$ to express mail 2 cold pizza's every month =-) I used to eat this pizza ever since i was a kid, and i've been to allmost every state, and i still havent found anything comparable.
Excellent Pizza – coming here once a year to visit from out of state... quonset is a must every time... sometimes more than once! highly recommended...
LONG TIME GOOD PIZZA – THE PIZZA HERE HAS NOT CHANGED FOR 20+ YEARS. HUSBAND MOVED TO CA AND EVERYTIME WE ARE BACK IN THE AREA WE ALWAYS STOP HERE. IT IS ONE THING THAT DIDN'T CHANGE FOR HIM.
Best Sausage Pizza anywhere – NO gimmicks or advertising. NO franchises. Same great pizza, with no change, for the past 20 years. I've had pizza from hundreds of places, including most of the top 20 on this list, and Quonset is better.
Family Favorite for Over 45 years – Best pizza anywhere. When I was growing up and my parents said we were going out for pizza that meant only one place. There is nowhere else that serves pizza this good. My favorite is sausage and mushroom. Quonset has a unique sausage recipe that is like no other.
