I went to Quirk VW to get warranty work done on my 2023 arteon as I found out after calling Volkswagen customer care the dealer can either accept or deny warranty work in this case. Review is based on purchase (not timely) and service (over a decade). Purchase: Got a car from them a decade ago and it was fine. Not great and not terrible but everything went smooth so no complaints. Service: I have spent at least 1/3 of my cars price on service there and am fine with that. I don't recall them ever suggesting something unnecessary or not listed on the maintenance schedule. Quirk VW Manchester's Service Department is such a pleasurable experience. You know your vehicle's in good hands with them, and they'll give you an honest review of how your car's looking, both good and bad. They do walk-thru inspection videos to show you what parts are and systems they recommend service on; I've only seen this here. If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would have done it yesterday. I experienced one of the most shocking and unacceptable service situations of my life at Quirk Volkswagen. In January 2025, they told me my air filter needed to be replaced — and I have photos and videos from VW’s own service updates showing my air filter sitting on top of the engine during that visit.
