This team was wonderful! They were kind, supportive and accommodating in the face of a family emergency and were able to get our loved one home safely and put the family at ease during the trip. Beverly was so calming and knowledgeable and was able to move mountains to make a truly awful time so much easier. I don't have the name of the people that did the actual transport but they kept my loved ones engaged and calm during the long trip and I cannot state how thankful I am.
Paid to have my mother transported from Amica in Whitby to Belmont in Belleville. It was stressed that this was a time sensitive transfer as a doctor and nurse would be on site to receive and assess mom at Belmont. At 10:30 am on the day of the transfer we learned that Quinte Patient Transfer had not shown up. They did not answer their phone or respond to numerous messages left on their answering service during the 2 hours which followed. My Mother has many medical issues and, up until the past few weeks, we haven't had any problems using their services for her patient transfers. However the first incident occurred last week. When they told me that her wheelchair was too wide and that they would be unable to take her. I had not been told any width requirements on the phone. Because of this, she missed her MRI and we were still charged a cancelation fee.
