I am an 80 year old retired teacher. I went to the Spine Center to Dr. Mazzaferro with really bad back pain. With hardly any examining he gave me a prednisone week pack and said go to PT. I was at a loss for words but managed to ask him if he could suggest anything to take for the pain. He turned and said, and I quote, “ If you’re looking for drugs, you came to the wrong place.” Really? at 80? I couldn’t even answer, I just walked out shaking my head thinking, how dare you? His office staff was lovely!
Terrible office staff,been waiting since Oct 2024 for them to get the necessary referrals and still waiting 3 cancelled trips & still nothing. Someone needs to look into the office staff.
The staff is very friendly, but I went there and got two injections and I haven’t had success and he basically made me feel as if I’m making my pain up and crazy. I wouldn’t go here if I was a woman if I was you.
The doctors and staff are very aware of your problem and will do their best to help you. Good people too!
