It is disappointing to see a healthcare provider place more emphasis on billing than on patient care. My daughter visited this urgent care, was evaluated, and prescribed a 5-day course of antibiotics. When the medication failed to improve her symptoms, she called to ask whether a longer course or a different treatment might be appropriate. Instead of addressing the fact that her symptoms remained exactly the same, she was told she needed to return for another visit and pay for another evaluation. They are usually quick about getting you in and out which is not always a good thing. I went in Sunday and was only seen by a nurse, not an actual doctor. During my visit I clearly stated a health condition I had, only to be recommended and over the counter medication even I knew I shouldn't have been taking without speaking with an actual doctor first. If I wanted medical advice from for my nurse, I could have just asked my mother(who is a nurse) and even she recommended speaking to my primary care doctor before taking that... read more
