Had diagnosed across the street at Autozone with bad alternator and dead battery recommended not even to drive home this way. Called Woodhouse and they got me in within 15 min confirmed needing both replaced. They had me up and running next day for fraction of he dealership price quoted for just alternator , which they couldn't even get me in for serviced for another 2 weeks. Thank you Woodhouse!
This place used to be great. The key phrase is "used to be". They are usually pretty busy so I called to check the wait time for an oil change today at 230pm. I was told there were 2 techs at lunch and their current wait is 45min. Then the person on the phone said if I came at 3pm, they would be able to get me in right away. I did as the guy said and came in right at 3pm only to be told the wait is now 2 hours. I used to like coming here. Not anymore and I won't be attempting to use their services again. Staff was extremely friendly and kind, especially Micheal who helped us directly. We are not from the area as we were just passing through on our long road trip. We hit an animal on the highway that did some minor damage. They were very welcoming and understanding in helping us with our problems. They inspected the car and were able to do some temporary fixes that allowed us to get home safely to our hometown mechanic. We greatly appreciated their kind and generous help after a long stressful day of traveling.
I have been a repeat customer over the last 18 years with the same vehicle. The large majority of repairs (probably around 80%+) at shops have been done here. Mostly including suspension, brakes, fluid changes, the usual. However, it appears their quality has taken a nosedive in recent years. $6,200 wasted. TL;DR: Cutting exhaust without permission, requiring replacement. Repaired exhaust had bad welds and collided with the bumper making awful noises and they dented the muffler.
