After paying for full tax services, we were assured everything was done correctly and that we’d get money back. That was not true. Due to missed Uber tax obligations, we ended up owing about $950 in penalties. Once the issue came up, the accountant became unreachable. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

Paid this accountant to handle my annual taxes. I was told I’d get about $400 back. Instead, I ended up with a penalty. After that, he became unresponsive and ignored calls. Very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

Ali Benhas charged us to handle our annual taxes and Uber income properly. He assured us we’d receive a refund, but due to his mistake or negligence, I was hit with a penalty instead. Once the issue came up, he stopped responding completely. Unprofessional and unreliable.

Strongly avoid working with this accountant. We paid Ali Benhas to handle our annual taxes, including Uber income. He told us we would receive a refund, but instead we were hit with a $1,000 penalty because Uber taxes were not handled properly. When we tried to follow up, he ignored calls and messages. This caused unnecessary stress and financial loss. Extremely unprofessional and not worth the risk.

The worst accountant I’ve ever dealt with. Since 2021, he neglected to file my taxes despite repeatedly assuring me that everything had been completed. I made the mistake of trusting him without checking my CRA account, only to later discover mounting interest charges and penalties when CRA finally contacted me. On top of that, when he eventually filed, he failed to include most of my eligible expenses, which caused me to overpay thousands in taxes.
