This was my second time at Quest and both times the staff has been stellar. The appointment scheduling was convenient and easy. Check in was a breeze and I barely waited 2 minutes before Angelina came out to get me. She was friendly, thorough and explained everything perfectly. She did a great job with a pain-free blood draw. Very professional, but relatable and friendly. I don’t get the bad reviews. Both the phlebotomists were excellent. I would use them again the next time i need services
First, its ridiculous that you can't talk to a live person when you call Quest and when using the form to request an answer via email, you don't get a response. My husband took our 13 month old to get his blood drawn and after trying a couple of times, they weren't able to get it. He was told that we'd have to take our baby to a hospital for the draw because our baby's veins were too small...he's a baby, he absolutely has small veins. Best place to take your little one if they need blood work! Lena was the sweetest with my one year old. She brought out toys and snacks for him and the best part…no tears! She was super gentle with the blood draw and showed me how to securely hold him in my lap. He squirmed and fussed a bit, but no crying and the whole thing was super quick!
Draw site is understaffed at this time. With an appointment, wait time was over an hour past scheduled time. You can here staff in the back chit-chatting and complaining about Quest system automatically scheduling 10 minute appointments.
The Quest labs team in Olympia is on point (pun intended!) Lena and Angelina were amazing! I had to give nearly 20 vials of (fasting) blood and turned gray and sweaty on vial 16 - almost passed out! But Angelina kept me conscious with her awesome bedside manner and Lena swooped in with the post blood draw snacks, water and ice packs! Teamwork at its best! Feeling blessed! Thank you Quest Labs team! You are lucky to have Angelina and Lena!
