I’ve had a few labs done in the past 18 months. Most of them at quest, I’ve always been satisfied with the nurses. Very kind and gentle. I used to hate getting my blood drawn but I gotta say the personnel at quest are definitely pros.
The decision to remove human, customer facing staff at the reception area is a terrible idea. Sometimes people need to ask questions or check details and the current system makes that impossible. Sure, allow automation but don't force the automation on your customers. The system is not yet optimized. On one visit there was a tiny error message after I joined the wait list, I was told to take a seat, it turned out I was never added to the queue.
