The Phlebotomist, her name is Clay, inserted the needle, which was attached to the vacutainer guide, through the outer wall of the vein with bevel facing up, and then through the opposite wall of the vein, then applied the vacutainer vacuum to the needle inside of the guide tube to aspirate the blood. My veins are very prominent and large in diameter. No wait time (had apptmt), easy blood draw very fast turn around on test results.
Everyone was smiling and friendly and the person who drew my blood was amazing- didn’t hurt at all and I am a huge wimp!
Phlebotomist was efficient and fast! I was in and out in @10 minutes!
