Overall I was pleased with my visit. A staff member was in the lobby assisting patients with the log in process. Very helpful. The staff was professional and courteous. I believe Quest Diagnostics has become too reliant on automation. It took me a while to learn that my first choice for service was permanently closed, leaving me with one choice for service on my side of the Mississippi River. I was thrilled to see how organized and efficient this facility is. The staff is hospitable and professional. I was called in within 5 minutes of arriving and the lady who did my bloodwork made me feel comfortable. (I don’t like needles) She was fast and I didn’t feel the little stick that she warned me about. Before I knew it, I was done and on my way home! 100% satisfied!🙌🏼
The walk-in stand by policy is a little insensitive. Some of the workers were purposely messing around to avoid taking a walk-in… just don’t make sense. One of the technicians continued to announce that stand-by’s may have to wait up til 4 hours…now that’s ridiculous. I was at the office at 6:45 am. I noticed some of the technicians pulling up 5 minutes to opening. Once the doors opened at 7 on the dot, the lady next to me appointment was for 7:10, she wasn’t called til nearly 7:30. Everyone who may need to have Labs done "PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT" I'm Soo glad I did! Quest opens @ 6:30am , my appt.was ,for 7am as soon as I signed in,@ 6:50 I was called! In & out .All appts are called 1ST, and Walk-INS have up to 2 hour wait.I was impressed@ the professionalism of this system. Things flow much better whenever we follow the rules . I went in too schedule an appointment and they just so happened to have availability to take me for two seperate procedures.I was in and out and the staff was extremely helpful and very courteous
