Easy to make an appointment, got right in, nurse hit the vein and no pain so I can’t complain.
This is the most inefficient facility. Twice...YES.. twice in the past 2 months bloodwork has been lost, requiring a repeat blood test ! Witin 2 days BOTH blood tests miraculously appeared!! Only use Quest on Western Blvd in Glastonbury if you enjoy repeating bloodwork. This place should be closed down!
Associates complained that they are short staffed, which is not a patient problem but an internal problem. My 9.10am appointment became a 9.25am appointment due to the fact that the associate was unable to read the names correctly in the waiting area. I told her my appointment was 9.10am again repeating the issue of being “short staffed” and proceeded to tell me I am not on the list, I told her that is impossible and produced my phone with my confirmation she showed me the list. The young girl who drew my blood did an excellent job. Very professional and pleasant personality. I haven’t always had a good blood draw in the past. She said she only had two years experience. But she definitely was at the top of what she’s doing.
This “Phlebotomist” told me I should know my veins because they’re my arms… (lol) and where they draw blood from. I told her they either draw from left arm or right arm. My regular quest in new Britain never has a problem but I’m in the area and decided to go here. Really unprofessional to say the least , attitude to the max, other patients were upset as well. Never coming back here.
