While I understand efficiency, productivity and profitability of having tech; the human touch was missing.The lab techs were LESS THAN FRIENDLY. (Specifically at the Takoma Park office) The young lady that took my blood LITERALLY JABBED me not once but TWICE. Felt like I was stabbed on the street.
The lab technician provided bad sample collection guidance which means following her advice can result in meaningless or false test results. I know this because I later looked up the lab order codes on the Quest Diagnostics Test Directory and obtained official guidance on specimen Transport Container, Transport Temperature, and Specimen Stability.
