Attempting to make an appointment for tests and received a message that the two facilities in Cape Coral were booked up through the 18th. I don’t think that is what my doctor had in mind. Furthermore, it is astounding that neither facility had any appointments available for over two weeks.

I want to make you aware of the horrendous experience that took place with your staff at the 4810 Milton Street, location in Cape Coral, FL. Staff was aggressive and combative. This morning after checking the website and hearing the quest recordings numerous times, my senior parents went to get blood work done during the “Peace of Mind” hour. The lady at they door refused to let them in screaming “YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN APPOINTMENT”. Also she was asking me what my job was and why was I driving around seniors, “oh it must be sooooo nice” are they all with you??? WHY ARE YOU HERE with Them???” in a very condescending manner. I was appalled that someone with this behavior could represent your company, she got less than 6 inches from my face. Mocking and being extremely condescending. I was trying to tell her as she yelled over me, that all public notices from quest do not require an appointment. Quest website, voice recordings, and even the hand out the employee threw at my face states “ to avoid waiting, we strongly recommend that you schedule an appointment.” NO where is it stated that it is mandatory. When you have elderly people over 80 with mobility and dietary restrictions turned away... because of some unknown reason, it is detrimental to them. We have been calling for 2 weeks. All the messages and website are conclusive that seniors can come in during first hours without an appointment by the “PEACE OF MIND” program. If this is correct, then Quest staff is out of compliance with what Quest is telling the public. This needs to be addressed immediately. I have copies of all your public communication and how Quest employees are misleading seniors who require these services. I will continue to contact everyone necessary till some discipline actions for the disgruntled employee and updates to the public information is corrected. My Father has attempted coming here twice. The first time he told me he was greeted in the same manner. He asked me to check the website and asked me to listen to the recording from quest, which I did and I said to him, you can go, maybe you didn’t understand what the employee said. I gave you guys the benefit of the doubt.. when I went today, she was disgusting and just as nasty as my father had experienced the day before. This is causing additional stress to seniors who are terrified of leaving their house due to Covid. If I can’t get some sort of resolution or communication I will be contacting all forms of public information and reporting this to the Better Business Bureau as well.
