I have been getting my haircut for the last few months at Queer Cuts and she has been the best hairstylist I have had in years. I wanted to switch up how I presented and she walked me through what to do to take care of my hair and how to get what I am looking for. Friendly service and would highly recommend to anyone.
Nicole made my YEAR! Long story short, I had gotten a cut from a former hairdresser only a few days before a big concert and it was NOT a vibe. I was super unhappy with it, but I was strapped for time and needed to find someone fast for a cleanup. Out of curiosity and desperation, I Googled “LGBT hair salon” to see if anything popped up bc I’m visibly gender-nonconforming and didn’t want to walk into a new place not knowing whether or not I would fit in. Amazing experience. Nicole was very friendly and easy to speak to. She asked a lot of questions to get a good idea of what I wanted. If you want a judgment free space that prioritizes what you want out of a hair cut/ style, then go here.
