Sandra started my locs over 3 years ago and my hair has grown tremendously. She's great, very energetic. I travel from Bolingbrook and it's worth it. You won't be disappointed.

I’m an “out of towner” that needed serious help I drive a truck nationwide and don’t get time to maintenance like I would like to sometimes, but Ms Melanie brought me back to life and at the last minute wich allowed time to visit my parents instead of going back home to Florida 1st. Melanie has great hands, she gave the best service with deep clean, hot oil, and Twist. Left me looking like a person again. The shop is cozy, and professional in a nice business district with and warm staff to make you feel at home.

This is my first time at the new location. Clean, professional, clear communication and between the music and the sweet smelling shop...a comfortable experience. Its best to schedule an appointment because good hands at work require it. I've been going to Mel for a couple years and her work is 5 stars.

From the moment I arrived, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The atmosphere felt tense, and at times I even felt bullied and emotionally overwhelmed, which is something I have never experienced at any salon before. Instead of feeling like a valued client, I felt judged and disrespected throughout my appointment. What made the situation even more upsetting was that personal matters seemed to be brought into the environment in an inappropriate and unprofessional way.
