I had a very concerning experience at the Costco Optometry clinic that I feel compelled to share. I attended the clinic due to ongoing eye issues, including redness, floaters, and flashing lines—symptoms that can understandably cause worry. I was fully prepared to pay the quoted $140 fee, as my priority was ensuring there was nothing serious affecting my eye health. Awful!! Please save your money and your insurance benefits and do not go to this place! Dr cheung rush people for the test for 10mins and basically just keep your prescription the same and not check thoroughly! Totally waste of my money and my time!!! Avoid this place!
What an awful place! Both my partner and I were treated like fast food items on conveyor belt. She spent like less than 20 mins for both of us. She is not pleasant yo deal with and she doesn't want to be asked any questions. My impressions is that she just wants to get easy money and not interested in clients. Never encountered such an eye examiner in my whole life. Never ever recommend her.
The eye exam here is more expensive than anywhere else you'll find. The reason is likely that everywhere else any additional imaging of your eyes is an extra fee, where here they don't ask you whether you want them done or not. If you ask whether they're necessary, they'll tell you that they're all part of their "comprehensive eye exam"
I’ve been a customer here for over 15 years and have never experienced an issue. Good service, fast pace but pleasant environment.
