Went here for the first time with my boyfriend to celebrate Valentine’s Day and we loved it! Parking wasn’t as hard as a I thought it may be. We got there 10 min. early and didn’t have to wait. All of the employees were very nice and attentive, and all seemed knowledgeable about the menu. I loved the decor. We had the afternoon tea and it was so delicious and filling that I regrettably couldn’t finish my pot of tea :( so sad because it was delicious. Everything is lovely until the bill comes & they have some sort of a ridiculous cash register that you can't split the bill by more than 3 or something silly like that. All I know is that the family from out of town visiting at the next table who had been so delighted to see this place in Seattle, was still trying to figure out their bill as we left, and embarrassed because they didn't know how to handle it ! However the tea gift area is also delightful.... love to check everything out when there.

Went here over the New Years with my sister and sister-in-law and we were blown away with how nice it was and how lovely all the employees were. We didn’t have a reservation (didn’t realize that they are booked out 6 months in advance) but they were able to slide us in and we had such an enjoyable afternoon feeling like the world outside calmed and slowed just for us.
