Do not trust the website images they are not what you get. They’re not even representative. Not even close. I would not stay in this hotel unless you don’t care about your view or the noise or unless you can afford the top-of-the-line ocean view king. We stayed one night in a double queen with a balcony with a view of Diamond Head and what we had a view of was diamond head next to an entire building of air conditioners so if you tried to go out on the balcony, it was filthy and loud and hot and disgusting. What a fantastic Hotel, in a Great location, views of Waikiki beach. Walking distance from some great diners/bars/resteraunts and shopping.

I do not recommend if you’re looking for comfort and customer service! Valet is truly not valet, beds and hard and nobody provides service at the pool

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. Most every time my reservation gets downgraded despite the hotel telling me they upgraded me. Being moved to a room facing the hostile next door and exposed to the loud valet area below is not an upgrade. Obviously like many businesses today, taking advantage of customers and moving them to cheaper rooms in order to rebook a more expensive room is par and acceptable. Location is great! We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the Queen Kapiolani Hotel. It was such a great value, especially for Waikiki. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was wonderful and everyone greeted us with a smile. The biggest standout for us was definitely the view. Having an unobstructed view of Diamond Head and the ocean was absolutely beautiful. We also loved watching the parrots flying and circling nearby — such a fun little bonus!
