Zero control over the emergency room. There were people shooting up in the bathroom and letting several adults run around screaming in the waiting room and the triage nurse was more concerned with people wearing masks then people actively shooting up in the bathrooms. Ended up leaving without seeing a doctor because the environment felt unsafe.

During the month of September 2026 I had an emergency situation to deal with. The Emergency doctor and staff were amazing! They treated me kindly and with respect. The follow ups that I have received these past four weeks at QEH and my doctors office has been outstanding. I feel that we as patients are treated well when we respect the health care professionals. Well done QEH!!
Worstttttt. The healthcare system is so bad. I was extremely sick and I waited there for 6 hours to see a doctor and no one in sight. Went home at 2am. Crazy
I always got the thing done in Emergency department in less than 16 hours. Staff works very efficiently.
