many staff in the diagnostic imaging department, specifically MRI, are so rude and it's very uncomfortable. I've had to go through this department over the years and recently my experience of calling to reschedule an appointment but intentionally being hung up on really is the last straw for me. Called switchboard to see if I could talk to someone else after trying repeatedly to reschedule, was only sent back to the same number who would pick up the phone just to hang up. My experience at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Charlottetown was absolutely unacceptable and deeply upsetting. My wife is 5 months pregnant and was sent here urgently due to serious symptoms including severe headache, blurry vision, and a diagnosis of papilledema. This is a potentially serious condition in pregnancy, yet the way she was treated showed no urgency or care. We waited from around 5 PM until the next day around 3 PM.
