Great place for Venezuelan food. I have been coming here for many years. It doesn't disappoint.
Oh my wow! Fantastic, beyond fantastic. The plantains were like chips! Delicious Arepa!!! And great vegetian options.
Downtown Mesa has had a hard time sticking the landing, long the deserted city center of a suburb once voted the third most boring in the nation. But, something wonderful has happened since COVID, where DT Mesa is suddenly cool. More and more food options anchor a growing craft brew scene. First time having a Venezuelan arepa and it did not disappoint. They are made fresh which is the best! I got the arepa with pollo (chicken). I added cheese and avocado (both extra) but worth it. It came with tostones (plantain chips) however fresh tostones would be even better. They do have the option of choosing tajadas (ripe fried plantains) for extra instead of the plantain chips it comes with.
Amazing weekend brunch! Delicious food and friendly service. I had the breakfast arepa with passion fruit juice.
