A hidden gem in Mesa! Jared made us incredible custom drinks, and the food was just as good. The weekend ribs were some of the best I’ve had, and the Dirty Burger and crispy fries were delicious. Seating is limited, but it’s absolutely worth a visit!
The only reason I rated the food, lower was because half of it arrived, and the meats were cold. I think if I would’ve had a more simple platter, it would’ve been fine, but since we had the combination of various types of food, some of it got cold. I would recommend that they bring each part of that combination platter out as soon as one of the dishes is ready and continue to bring them out until they’re all done. I would give them another try since the food that was warm did taste good.
First time trying Venezuelan food, and I was definitely not disappointed! The portion sizes are very generous, and you definitely get a lot of food for a great value. I shared the Sampler (4 tequenos and 4 shredded chicken empanadas) and a side of sliced sweet plantains, and it was very delicious! The empanadas were light and fried to perfection, and the plantains were the perfect sweet treat. Definitely check out this spot if you're in Mesa!
Best food ever! My dad is from Venezuela so we love trying to find more Venezuelan restaurants but this is my all time favorite. I genuinely could live on the Tequenos they are my addiction. Staff is so kind and the drinks are bomb! Highly recommend!
