With the melange of regional favorites from all over Italy, co-owner and chef John Coletta presents both traditional cuisine as well as experimental items at Quartino. The restaurant is known for providing quality, handmade food, where almost everything is made fresh and within house. Try the salumeria tasting, it is quite impressive and with a variety of wines to go with the food, there isn't any surprise why the place is a firm favorite among Chicagoans.

Quartino is amazing. Great hours, and no shortage of reasons to stay there until closing. It was a regular place when I was going to school in Chicago, and a #1 favorite of the friends and family I would take there when visiting from California. Very reasonably priced, friendly and gracious service, and the food and wine selection is homey, delectable, and relaxed. I look forward to when I can return! (Get the limoncello)
