Awesome riding school Beautiful facility with a family atmosphere. Excellent school horses and knowledgeable staff. Lessons available for those who have never ridden before all the way up to those competing in A rated shows. Facility also hosts 3 horse shows a year and offers pony parties and summer camps.

I attended all three of Julia's shows this year at Quarry Ridge as well as other Friendship Series shows at partner Freeman Farms. Friendly and safe and nurturing environments. I appreciate the opportunity that the Friendship Series provides: no one leaves these shows feeling "less than." I love that at these shows EVERYONE claps for you, and you clap for everyone. That's the culture. Stark contrast from Hunter Creek to be sure! Thanks, Julia, Laurie, and Janice for all you do for amateur riders.

The Quarry ridge friendship series was my first introduction to local horse shows when I moved to Oregon from the East Coast. My clients and I love the Friendship Series shows! They're well-run and the perfect place to bring a new rider or green horse. The setting and courses are beautiful but the atmosphere is low-key and will put the most nervous young riders at ease. This is a super way to ease new families into showing without the expense of the big shows.

This series of horse shows and the venue at Quarry Ridge is a major cornerstone of the local system of shows. This series fills a niche that is desperately needed in our region. From beginning Riders to professionals who need a professional quite and well run show to school our young horses, the Friendship Series is our go to for so many of our client and young horses. It's rare to have a well run professional show like these that also preserves the historical fun and camaraderie of the great local shows of years past. Love ... read more
