I recently had some imaging done with upmc. I started to get phone calls from a number I dont recognize. Here it was a collections agency calling me about a bill I didnt know I even had with quantam imaging. Never sent me a bill or anything. If they want people to pay a bill even for 10 dollars, here is a wise thing to do, send the person a bill Instead of taking the easy way out and sending it to collections. Paid my bill promptly, days later I get a call about it not being paid ? All of a sudden it posted when I called customer service for clarification ??

Stay away from this place. My mom came here for a mammogram. They billed $248. I paid it. Then they billed us again for the same exact charge, and I paid it again. After being paid twice, they still sent the account to collections. Now they’re telling me I have to pay the $248 again because collections claims it’s still owed. That is insane. The only reason this hasn’t gone further is because I kept the receipts proving they were already paid—twice. This is not a one-off mistake. Look at the 1-star reviews. This place clearl... read more
