Update: My family and I went pretty early in the morning around 9 am and the "cafeteria" was already busy. We ordered mainly banh khot and banh uot thit nuong. The free tea is always fantastic and the food was still amazing, although some banh khot were crisper than others. But the real kicker is the prices jumped significantly over a couple of years. The lion food court is a lil dated and needs a remodel but you can get The best rice vermicelli in San Jose, go here for banh xeo and Bun Thịt nướng.
Lovely customer service, she recommended us her signature dishes. I got number 9 and 11. 9 is bbq pork wrapped in rice roll and 11 is Vietnamese crepe. The crepe has bean sprouts, shrimp and pork inside. So good wrapped in lettuce with the sauce drizzled inside.
