We had a major mess going with an outdoor water leak in our lawn sprinkler system. Jacob from Wilcox Bros. showed up in an impressively short time after we notified Wilcox of the problem, was reassuring that he had everything under control, and followed up that promise with work that was knowledgeable, professional, skilled, and immediately effective, and that set our minds at ease that things had been taken care of. Wilcox installed my sprinkler system and it seems fine. The issue is their front office staff. Every time I call to schedule a maintenance visit--which is at least twice a year to turn on/off the system--the clerk is so incredibly rude. First, they should not take offense when customers don't know how their process works (instead just explain it without the indignation). Second, the best they can do scheduling-wise is a 10 day window. Third, the clerk refuses to provide any estimate of what it costs to make a repair that the... read more
