First and foremost, I am far from a reviewer or one to blog or even talk about an establishment online, good or bad. Here was my scarry and creepy experience at the quality inn off memorial drive. Checking in was pleasant the lady was very helpful, aside from her bewildering that my name was spelt like a man would, I assured her that was the way I spelt my name. Very unpleasant stay... the hotel in general is run down. The whole 2nd floor smelled like fried fast food, there were portable dehumidifiers in the hallway, and my room smelled like mildew. There was obvious signs of water damage, and periodically throughout the night I heard some kimd of audible alert chime from the hallway, likely a full reservoir alert coming from the portable dehumidifiers. When I left in the morning, the elevator was in locked on the 1st Floor. I will pass this place up next time

Room 117- Lights, water, sink, ice box, iron & ironing board, shower, microwave, tv, all worked well. Ac worked well & quitely. No loud noises from out side. But Door sticks very well also. Desk clerk very nice & helpful. Didn't notice any weird smells. Toilet a bit closer to floor than usual, good for kids. Room looked clean, but we always wear our slippers or shoes when in the room, didnt feel sticky. Not saying something wasn't wrong with the floor, we just wear them always in any motel. Rooms are ok but I had better in Laplace Louisiana I came in my room yesterday all they did was replaced the towels didn't clean the room yet

The room is good for what you expect for the price. The night shift staff member name Nelson, or at least that's what I could understand through the glass, will not sell you anything out of concessions because it won't fit through the little glass window. He will tell you to go to the vending machines which have no return quarters for you, then he will proceed to tell you that he will have to wait on management to look at the cameras I assume to check your honesty.
