This hotel was just fine. It has an excellent location, free parking, and is clean. Both receptionists were very friendly, and for the price, it is a good place to stay just to sleep. It is 6 minutes from Patriots Point, 12 to 15 minutes from Downtown Charleston (the Historic District), and 12 minutes from Sullivan's Island. They have a gas station close by, as well as a Starbucks, a Walgreens, and a lot of restaurants.
We stayed in room 226, and there was mold/mildew all over the room. I told faith at the front desk and all she said was that she will let housekeeping know . I have asthma and mold can trigger a flare up. She did nothing to fix the situation. Please beware!!!
Prices seem to vary and never the same. Front desk staff is rude and acts like she is doing us a favor.
Katrina was the absolute sweetest host! She assisted us with kindness and I really appreciated her! Loved the hotel room very clean and quiet. Parking lot was safe and had lots of shaded areas.
