Great location. Large room beautifully furnished. Close to mains streets, restaurants, bars & cafes. Comfortable walking distance from the station. The room was very quiet but we still managed to hear (enjoy) the rain falling on the roof.

The hotel is old world charm. close to the cities restaurants and attractions. A 25 minutate walk to the lake and 10 minute walk to the the station. The rooms are dated but kept clean, the reception staff were great, but the restaurant isn’t open everyday and the breakfast isn’t available until 8am and at the lane way cafe.

A beautiful building in a great spot, very tastefully decorated to the period. We enjoyed our stay in room 6, especially the spa bath. However one thing I cannot overlook and would keep us from returning is the quality of all the beds in our suite. The 2 singles and queen were very lumpy and uncomfortable and I urge the owners to address this as we would return in a heart beat if the mattresses were better.
