We rented a 2 room suite that was supposed to be smoke free. Room stunk like cigarette smoke, bathroom was disgusting, floors were disgusting, furniture is clearly not moved or cleaned under, refrigerator didn't work at all to keep the babies' milk cold, air conditioner didn't work right (didn't shut off when it reached the temperature), outlet didn't even have a cover on it, and a piece of the trim on the wall was on the floor when we walked in. Poor service-- First had a strange person bust into our room cause they activated wrong room for his key!!! Then got no wake up call that we had set up!!!
We have stayed at this Motel every time we've been in the Greenville area over the last 6 years or so. Recently, they updated the rooms and lobby area, so most everything is fairly new. Sure, it's a "motel", but the rooms have always been clean and the beds comfortable. It may not be the all-inclusive resort you'd hang around all day, but they have a pool and the standard Choice Hotels breakfast with some hot offerings and the waffle machines. This facility seemed to be a little nicer than some of the others. The front desk lady was super rude and not very accommodating. Nikki, I believe, was her name. She had an attitude for some reason. Then I saw her at one of the rooms a bit later. Had all her things like she was off work. It seemed weird that she would be conversing with a guest at around 11 pm. This is a large complex.
