We had planned our trip a bit differently than it panned out and found ourselves in Charleston, SC rather than in Columbia, SC. and scrambling for a good night's rest. This hotel is outside of downtown on a highway and looks like a dive, but it was safe, clean and the staff were wonderful! I would stay here again without a doubt. I don't need fancy when I'm on vacation, I just need a safe, clean place to lay my head each night.
My husband and i decided to set out on a drive south and decide where we will go, decided to stay in Savannah booked, Beaufort booked, Charleston, everything we wanted booked.Our room was very clean, new carpet,new furnishings. lacked a flat screen tv ,but that didn't matter to us. The manager said they were on order. Although we are very close to interstate 26 and an airport noise level overnight is very low. Basic. Clean. Economical. Friendly service. Close to the airport: 3 miles from the Charleston, NC airport. We stayed here for one night. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the room. A very basic motel room, but a way to save money.
