I was staying at the Bangor Quality Inn, and I was having bowel surgery. I just came back from the hospital and the front desk was full of patrons waiting and I interrupted TJ Baker, the man working at the desk and told him that my door key wasn't working and that I just got home from surgery and needed to lay down. He immediately helped me without hesitation and opened my door. I was so thankful! The kindness and caring he showed touched my heart. Thank you so much TJ!
It's a nice place though a bit worn and dated. The staff is very kind and they do try to make things right. Not bad for the price. The room's ac filters were clean, for those of us who check.
I stayed one might recently. My only suggestion is that the hotel consider adding grap bars at the shower,/tub location for increased safety when getting in and out of the tub. I have a disability. I don't ask for a handicap room because I am still mobile. Thank you..
Our stay was very quick... we were in our room for less than 10 hours so all we did was sleep and shower. Our previous stay, the room was much nicer. This room was extremely dated and smelt that way. Breakfast was nice. We were put in the room directly next to reception and across from ice maker... Luckily our stay was brief and noise was loud once from other guests entering at 1am. The cost was extremely high because there was a concert that night. We were just staying as a pass through before driving home to Canada.
We stayed a few weeks ago and I forgot my daughters blanket on the bed. Though they have been kind everytime I call, I find it hard to believe they didn't find her expensive one of a kind blanket. For that reason I will not be returning.......a blanket doesn't just disappear and it was a blanket big enough to cover an adult. So I can only assume someone kept it :( very disappointing
