This Quality Inn is currently under renovation. Some rooms are in the process of being upgraded/renewed. For my purpose the location was perfect. A huge supermarket is nearby, there are plenty of fast food restaurants around, and even a Mall (Fox River Mall) isn't far away. The provided breakfast is pretty much standard. No warm food provided. A Waffel maker, cerials, muffins, bagels and Joghurt, aswell as some fruits are available. Coffee and juice (orange and apple) is provided aswell.
The rooms were not great. They are due for a renovation. Burns on the carpet, old bathroom fixtures, and electric sockets that are worn out and don't power my phone charger are among the things that stick out in my memory. Breakfast was missing some things, but the coffee was not bad. I can't complain about the service. I needed to get a different room and got a single with a king bed and it was cleaner than the first room, and I slept fine. I do think housekeeping and maintenance needs to up their game though.

Worst hotel EVER! Filthy. Metal strip along the bottom inside of room door was bent and sticking out (about 4 inches) huge safety thing. Someone could slice their toe open on it. No safety lock of any kind on door for security. No bureau or drawers for clothes or items. Floor was not vacuumed. Huge crumbs under desk/chair area. Ice bucket was dirty and there was one used not wrapped paper cup. Bed was lumpy and not comfortable although sheets (surprisingly) seemed clean. While the location is convenient. The staff are blasier and when informed of problems with the room they just kind of shrug. Worst hotel I've ever been in. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone
