Repair technician did a pro job on the repair. He found several parts he felt needed replacement and he explained and demonstrated why. I trusted his judgement and the work cost more than anticipated. However, replacing parts before they fail likely avoids another service call. Job well done.

I hired this company to repair the springs on my garage door opener, and while they were adjusting it, they overextended the door and broke the chain adjuster, it went over the sprocket, damaging the motor sprocket and causing most of the teeth to snap off. I found metal shards on the floor. Even though I was there, the technician claimed it was just wear and tear. In January 2024, I purchased a garage door motor system that included a control panel, sensors, remotes, cables, bearings, weather seal, and other components for $1,000. In May 2024, I paid an additional $500 to have two new springs and bearings installed. As of October 2025, the sensors have failed and are no longer under warranty. I was charged $418 to replace them, despite the fact that similar sensors are available for around $50 at Home Depot. The load spring cable on the left side of double garage door was disconnected by me accidentally when I removed roller bracket to place back bottom roller back into track. Didn't see that cable was attached to bracket. It was dark in the garage and should have taken more time to look over the situation. In other words, failure was self-induced. We bought a linear LSC0800 belt drive garage opener from them four years ago. The motor just vibrated itself off the three mounting screws and fell off. I called them to see what I need to do. There response was very poor. In essence-too bad, not our problem, we don’t even want to talk to you unless you spend $200. Great company unless you need help then tough €¥£!.
