We called and made an appointment with Quality Fireplace. Ray Judd showed up, and was friendly as can be. I had already seen the holes rusted through the fire box, and needed a professional opinion of the next steps. He said that to replace the permanent steel box, the front face of the fireplace would have to be torn apart, a new box welded in place and face of fireplace patched up. Not very inexpensive. Ray was great! Very courteous and knowledgeable. Our fireplace was in rough shape from the previous homeowners, but it looks fantastic now. Ray also told us honestly what needed to be replaced and what parts still could be used.
Great group of folks to deal with. From my first phone call until the end of the service call (about 36 hours total). I was treated with respect for me, my time and my money. Top shelf!
